A peek into the world of FIRST Tech Challenge
Build your own robot
Build a simple FTC robot and design your own arm and claw to complete a navigation and carry challenge while competing in teams to earn the most points in a given time limit.
Design your claw
Use CAD to create a claw that you will use to grab game elements to carry them around and score points against your opposing team in a head to head competition.
Drive into competition
Using your programs, team members will drive together to control the drive train and attachments to earn more points during the competition to win against the opposing team.
Learn about the FIRST Tech Challenge program in this 4 day robotics camp. FIRST is more than just robotics. FIRST Tech Challenge students learn to think like engineers. Teams design, build, and code robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams. Robots are built from a reusable platform, powered by Android technology, and can be coded using a variety of levels of Java-based programming.
This camp will introduce you to the FTC program and introduce challenges with opportunities to create elements in CAD, build complex robot attachments, and program our robot.
